You’re tried of your job? The only reason you’re there is because, it’s how you provide for your family? And you know there’s more that you must give, but not there, right? If you answered yes, you must start a business.

I’m not going to tell you to quit your job. But I’ll show you the one thing you must do, to get your business providing for your family like never before. And then I’m going to share a secret with you, they don’t want you to know.

I’ll tell you who they are a little later.

Here’s the deal. I never wanted to have a job that drained me everyday, and the only reason I stayed was because it provided.

I started a business and started making thousands of dollars every month from home. But I lost it all. The better way to say it is…I let it go.

This Will Stop Your Business Starting, Soaring & Sustaining

As a Christian, I kept wrestling inside with whether I should be making this amount of money, this fast. It took losing my business, and searching, if providing for my family this way, was what Christians should do.

And I questioned myself often. Should I even make content like this, to show you how to succeed in business, based on principles found in the Bible. I was afraid to start making these articles.

I was afraid of all the people who have seen my Bible teaching in other areas. I was afraid of failing at business again. I was afraid people would judge me because I’m Christian.

I could keep going. But I was afraid. All these different fears stopped me for years, from doing things like this. Things I knew I should do, but kept putting off.

Overcome Your Fear And Start Your Business

But I got to the point where I realised, this all doesn’t matter.

Starting anything new is like being a baby all over again. When a baby is learning to talk, do you think the baby cares everybody is watching them mumble their words?

It’s cute right?

That’s how I see myself. I’m God’s child, taking steps, I’ve never done before, and I’m focused on Him.

He’s not going to laugh at me for making mistakes. He’s going to rejoice, the more faith I put in Him.

Yes there are people who will attack me, mock me, and try to embarrass me. But I realised…If I’m so focused on God, it doesn’t even matter.

Until I overcame that fear of starting, I never started taking the steps. But once the fear was gone, now I’m excited to take the steps. This is why everything I do now in my business, and all the business advice I give, gets based on things in the Bible.

And now I’m on the journey to get it all back and more, as I help people like you make the transition easier and faster than me.

All Wealthy People Start A Business

When you think of the wealthiest people in the world, the one thing they have in common is a business. I knew this over ten years ago. But the reason it didn’t work out then, but will now, is because I know as a Christian, business is the key for me to provide.

This is the hardest step. I was afraid to start.

The one thing I had to overcome was the fear. I was afraid to make a lot of money in business as a confident Christian. A Christian who doesn’t hide his beliefs, but owns them, like I do in my every day life.

It got to the point in my previous business where I would say things to friends like…

“unless I can talk about my faith, I cannot continue”.

This sounds like I had a gag order on me, or speaking about my faith would ruin my business. But it wasn’t true. I was afraid to do what I did anywhere else. Talk about God.

But at the time I decided that I would not mention my faith. I’m not saying All Christians need to shout from the rooftops they’re Christians. But for me, I was teaching, the Bible should impact every area of your life, but not living it out the way I believed. I felt fake.

You have a fear of something, which is stopping you from taking the steps with total belief, you will succeed. Because if you believed with certainty you will succeed, you would take the steps. Starting A Business Is Good & Godly

I have no doubts anymore I should run my business. Because I’m empowered by many examples in the Bible, that show me, business is not only good. But something we’re encouraged to do. Starting a business is Godly.

I now know and believe, the Bible has all the answers to running a successful business in any period of time. And this empowers me to take the steps forward towards my destiny. A good book to read on this topic is this.

For example, I read in the Bible, 1st Thessalonians 4:11-12. It says,

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; [12] That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

The Formula For Starting, Soaring & Sustaining A Successful Business

If I do three things, I get two things. That sounds like a bad deal, but the two things are priceless. I would pay thousands to know how to do this. And that’s why I have over the years to learn this. Even though these principles were right there, free for all in the Bible.

The three things are,

Study to be quiet. Mind your mouth.

Focus on your business. Mind your money.

And work, don’t be lazy. Mind Your muscle.

If I mind my mouth, money, and muscle, then I get to walk honestly with everyone.

I Access Authenticity,

people know they can count on me, and I won’t lack anything.

I Access Abundance,

I have everything I need.

Imagine if right now, because you start a business, focused on working on your business quietly, you didn’t lack. And you never expected any letters with red writing coming through the door.

I read what scholars say about this verse. And most are saying the same thing. Paul was encouraging them to focus on their skills, do their jobs, and they wouldn’t lack. The next time Paul writes to the Thessalonians he says something similar as well. This is from 2nd Thessalonians 3:12.

He’s speaking about people who are not working, not minding their own business as he said in the previous letter. He says,

we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

The Apostles Had Businesses

Paul isn’t going to encourage something he wouldn’t do himself. Paul made tents for a living. Scholars even say Paul encouraged entrepreneurship. But it’s not only Paul.

At least four of the disciples were fishermen, John’s Gospel suggests even more of them were (John 21). James and John had employees to help with fishing. These four disciples ran their own business.

This gave them the freedom to preach the Gospel and fulfil their calling. And your business will do the same. But if you don’t overcome the fear to start, you will never see what God has in store for you.

The point is, these are only some examples that helped me overcome the fear I had.

Every fear I have, I destroy by building a case of scriptures in the Bible to wipe it out. The Bible has solutions to everything you are going through. When you overcome the fear that’s holding you back, you will realise, you don’t have the time.
