1 Thing Will Increase Your Leads & Sales (It’s FREE)!

If you want more leads, more sales, and more momentum in your business, there is one simple principle that changes everything: Set deadlines.

This isn’t just a marketing trick; it’s a Biblical, psychological, and practical principle that drives action, both for you and your audience.

Let’s break this down.

A business man lost in thought. Why Most People Stay Stuck Too Long

I was recently on a coaching call with a couple of entrepreneurs who had been working on their offer for an entire year… and still hadn’t made a single sale.

Think about that. A full year of planning, tweaking, and preparing, with no validation from the market. That’s not just inefficient. It’s dangerous.

Because if nobody buys after a year of work, it’s not just a business problem, it becomes emotional. It becomes discouraging. So instead of telling them to keep refining, I told them the opposite:

Launch it within a week. Not a year. Not six months. A week. Why? Because deadlines compress time and force action. When you remove deadlines, people delay. When you introduce deadlines, people decide.

In business, this is often called scarcity, but it’s deeper than that.

When I’ve sold products in the past, I’ve used simple deadline-driven emails:

  • 24 hours before closing
  • 6 hours before
  • 3 hours before
  • 1 hour before
  • Even 15 minutes before

And every time? People stop procrastinating and take action. But here’s the key:

Your deadline has to mean something. If you say an offer ends, but then keep it open, people will stop trusting you.

CashFlow For ChristiansHow I Launched “CashFlow for Christians”

When I created my product CashFlow for Christians, I didn’t spend months building it. I gave myself 7 days. That was the deadline. Within that week:

  • I launched the offer
  • I hadn’t even fully created the product yet
  • And I got my first sale within hours
  • By the end of the week, 7 people had bought

Why? Because I wasn’t focused on perfection. I was focused on validation and speed.

At the time, I priced it at just $7—not because of the money, but because I wanted to answer one question:

“Do people actually want this?”

Once people said yes, everything changed. Today, that same product has evolved into a full system and sells for much more—because it was built based on real customer feedback, not guesswork.

Here’s something most people get wrong: They try to perfect the product before selling it. I did the opposite. I sold first… then delivered. And as customers came in, I listened:

  • What did they need help with?
  • What was missing?
  • What would make it better?

That’s how the product grew into a full suite covering:

  • Product creation
  • Getting customers
  • Delivering your offer
  • Finding winning product ideas

Not because I guessed, but because I listened to paying customers.

Think back to school. You had assignments, essays, and exams. And what did they all have? Deadlines. It may have been delayed for weeks, but the moment that deadline got close?

You moved and worked. You produced. That’s what deadlines do. They force you to act even when you don’t feel like it. This principle isn’t just practical, it’s Biblical. God Himself operates with urgency and timing. There is a window to respond. A time to act.

We don’t know how much time we have, or when our opportunity will end. That reality creates urgency. And urgency creates decision.

Deadlines remove excuses. They eliminate overthinking and force clarity. They move you from:

  • Planning → Doing
  • Thinking → Executing
  • Waiting → Winning

As one powerful quote says:

“A goal without a deadline is just a wish.” — Napoleon Hill

If you want more leads and more sales:

  • Set a launch deadline
  • Set offer expiration times
  • Set content creation timelines
  • Set personal execution windows

And most importantly, stick to them.
