Can you give up your dream for God

Abraham was on a journey for around a quarter of a century. A journey which saw many obstacles arise. Though he put some in his own way, he still managed to get there in the end. God spoke to Abraham and told him, get up and travel to a mountain and a place I will show you, and take Isaac your son and sacrifice him to me. Abraham arose early that morning and took his men and his child up to the mount. He then went up personally with Isaac his only son and proceeded to do what God had told him to. This was the vision God had given Abraham. Isaac was a physical manifestation of the promise between God and Abram at the time. He was willing, due to the fact he knew God was bigger than anything and was able to do exceedingly abundantly above anything people could believe.
