5 Ways to Market Your Digital Product

Marketing your digital product can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re trying to honor God while growing your income.

When done right, selling becomes a way to serve others, solve problems, and steward the gifts God has given you

If you’ve been given a skill, a message, or a product that genuinely helps people, then marketing becomes a form of stewardship.

In this post, I’ll show you five strategies to market your digital product effectively—without compromising your faith or your integrity.

The best marketers aren’t always the loudest—they’re your customers. When someone receives real results from your product or service, they naturally share it.

That word-of-mouth momentum multiplies your reach and income.

A customer of mine recently saw someone leave a negative comment on my content. I didn’t need to defend myself—he jumped in and responded, defending the value he’d received.

Why? Because the results he got made him a loyal advocate.

Nevertheless, the person who left the negative comment ended up buying my product! That’s the power of a transformed customer speaking on your behalf.

In the Bible, Jesus healed a man possessed by demons who lived among tombs. After the miracle, the man begged to follow Jesus.

Instead, Jesus said,

“Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.” – Mark 5:19

That man went and spread the word throughout his city—a perfect example of what happens when you deliver results.

Here’s another personal story. A woman who bought one of my products commented publicly, saying she initially planned to refund it if it wasn’t helpful.

But after going through it, she said the value was so great she would feel like a thief to ask for a refund.

If people don’t know who you are or how you can help, they can’t buy from you. That’s why creating content regularly is non-negotiable.

Here are formats you can use:

  • Videos: Post at least once a week
  • Short-form content: Reels, TikToks, Shorts (60–90 sec)
  • Blog posts: Great for long-term SEO and platform independence
  • Emails: Weekly value-based communication
  • Tweets: Quick, digestible insights
  • Ads: Pay to accelerate reach to the right people
Even if you don’t start with everything, start with something. Share on X

When people see you consistently show up and help, they start to believe you can help them too.

Many entrepreneurs focus on features instead of the real transformation they provide. But your audience isn’t buying features—they’re buying solutions to their problems.

You need to clearly identify and communicate the pain points your product addresses.

When I was designing a product image, I tested it with my children. My 12-year-old understood it easily, but I wanted confirmation, so I asked my 7-year-old.

If even a child can grasp what your message or offer is about, you’re doing it right. That’s alignment—and it matters.

Clear messaging removes confusion, builds trust, and increases conversions. Speak directly to the struggles your audience faces, and show them how your product brings relief.

When you collaborate with others, you tap into new audiences, fresh perspectives, and mutual credibility. You don’t need a huge following to do this. You just need to be delivering value.

One of my YouTube channels had fewer than 1,000 subscribers. Still, bigger creators with tens of thousands of followers reached out to collaborate. Why? Because quality content speaks for itself.

Be proactive. Comment on others’ work, share what’s impacted you, or propose small collaborative projects. The goal isn’t to latch onto their platform—it’s to create mutual value.

Don’t chase money. Chase wisdom, and money will chase you. Share on X

Stay rooted in integrity. When people trust your character and see your excellence, collaboration becomes a natural outcome.

Partnerships can accelerate your growth. Even if you feel “too small” to collaborate, good content changes everything.

You can’t use what you don’t know. The more marketing wisdom you gain, the more confident and creative you’ll become in how you promote your products.

This doesn’t mean bingeing random tips online. Seek out Biblically-minded marketers, read books with lasting principles, and analyze why some messages land while others fall flat.

I often share marketing tips in tweets, reels, and videos because I know many people feel stuck when it comes to promotion. Learning never stops, especially in a constantly changing marketplace.

If you feel slimy about promoting your offer, remember this: helping people is never salesy. When God has given you something that solves a problem, it’s wise and right to share it.
